March 25, 2019, 2:49 PM · A couple of years ago, I got to play a Florian Leonhard bench copy of the "Countess Polignac", side by side with the original, at Mondo Musica NY. Fabulous violin, and liked by quite a few players (players were mostly pros) more than the original. $65k.

I encourage you to have a look at his violins. You may see some significant similarities between the Leonhard violin and Mr. Ihle's work.
