Trying to find the name of a tune

March 6, 2019, 11:51 AM · Sorry for the dumb question, but I wonder if anyone can help me trying to find the name of a tune. I was chatting with a friend and we talked about some classical music we heard when we were a kid. One of the tune actually stuck in my head for more than 30 years, but I know neither the name, nor who wrote it. After this conversation, it suddenly becomes very annoying that I can't find the title by humming it (most search app by humming seems to gear to search for pop song, not classical music).

The tune was played on the violin and it sounds something like this:

E AAAA CBA CBA GFE DCB ECAA E AAAA AGFEF D GGGG GFEDE C FFFF FEDCD

Anyone has a guess?

Thanks for the help!

Edited: March 6, 2019, 11:56 AM · I believe that's the Vivaldi A minor violin concerto, first movement, I think. I'll go check on IMSLP.
Also, a classical-music based search engine for y'all:

EDIT: I was right! Heck yeah!
