Synthetic violin bow

February 23, 2019, 5:04 PM · Has anyone had experience with a “Golden Strad” synthetic violin bow? I have one. It has synthetic hair too. I have 5 other bows too. I find it pretty good for me. Nice balance, weighs 63 grams, grips the strings well. My best bow is a carbon fibre Eastman Cadenza bow.
Thanks

I wanted to try synthetic hair, but I was put off when I read it had less grip and needs stickier rosin. I already use bass rosin, and find I sometimes want even more bite!
