Musicophilia (Oliver Sacks) - continued

Edited: December 19, 2018, 4:13 PM · This is a continuation of the archived 2007 discussion https://www.violinist.com/discussion/archive/12345/.

Yesterday I came across an apparently unused p/b edition of Oliver Sacks' book "Musicophilia" in a charity sale, so after a brief inspection of its contents I snapped it up without hesitation.

Detailed comments on the book are in the archived discussion above, so I won't comment at this stage until I've had time to read and assimilate the 400+ pages, which will take me well into next year, except to say that most musicians, and others, should find it absorbing.

It is available from Amazon and other outlets, so if anyone is thinking about a Xmas present, then there is still time to order.
