Lyrical repertoire for beginners

June 7, 2018, 12:01 PM · Hello,

I'm still in the process of learning the violin, very novice - only know first position so far. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any slow lyrical classical music for me to better refine my bowing before I move on to third position, preferably something not too technical. In essence I want something that I can actually play well while working on other techniques like staccatos etc.

Long story short, I'm perfect pitch and listening myself struggle with harder songs is quite difficult - I want something a little simpler to play to bring a little more satisfaction and motivation to learning the instrument.
