Thomastik Rondo durability?

June 4, 2018, 3:31 AM · Anyone used Rondo strings enough to have an opinion about durability?

My own factoid: I put sets on two instruments about 10 weeks ago. They sound pretty OK-- not at all false-- although I'm losing a bit of bloom on the G string, and they don't help intonation as conspicuously well as before. Volume may be down a bit overall, but that could be due to adjustment, climate, or any number of other factors. I may try to switch this week, but have a Thursday night orchestral concert that shouldn't encourage too many risks.
