Does anyone else think this movement is a Beethoven tribute - the c minor key and triplet rhythmic figure, as well as the octave leaps?
Never thought of that, but interesting idea.
The triumphant ending in C major, the 2/4 middle section, the rest on the beginning of most bars...oh yes, it's a tribute to Beethoven's Op. 67!
