Violinist Hurt on Christmas Eve in Cincinnati

December 30, 2005 at 04:16 AM · Apparently a violinist in Cincinnati was badly injured on Christmas Eve, and police are puzzling over what happened. His name is Arthur Weinberg of Newport, KY, and he belonged to the Musicians Union in Cincinnati. Here is the story out of Cincinnati. At the bottom it has a place to contact police with any leads for them.

Sad that such a thing would happen, and especially on Christmas Eve.

They also said something about how he was hurt, unless another musician was hurt over the holidays. Could somebody confirm this for me? It's not on the internet...

January 9, 2006 at 06:44 PM · Glad they caught the likely perp. Newport has aways had a reputation as a rough place, a bit to Cincinnati what Oakland is to San Fran. Cincinnati itself is pretty boring and everything they're run out goes to Newport.
