Where can I find the sheet music for Scriabin/Szeryng Etude in Thirds?
Thanks!
I've seen it from a collection book of music arranged for violin by Szigeti, published by Carl Fischer, which I believed is out of print (I think...).
"La perfection, qui passionne tant de gens, ne m'intéresse pas. Ce qui importe, en art, c'est de vibrer soi-même et de faire vibrer les autres"
-Enescu
"Perfectionism, which impassions so many people, does not interest me. Wad is important, in the art, its to vibrate oneself and make others vibrate"
I think wad it means 'vibrate oneself and make others vibrate' is to move the people through the music I think.
The arrangement of this Scriabin etude was by Szigeti.
You're right. It was Szigeti. My excuse is that I wrote that when I was tired. :) Why in the world would I write Szeryng??
Now where can I get it?
Dear William,
Please check this link, you shall find a zipped file, inside are the sheet music and a great performance audio file by Michael Rabin.
Enjoy.

That's a nice piece and great recording by Rabin. I think the piece originally before it was arranged by Szigeti for violin was entitled 'Etude in Tenths' for the piano. This is a good piece for improving intonation for thirds.
Sorry, but can anyone explain me how can I download that file? Those 2 links on the site are not taking me anywhere.
Please, help me.I would like to get that etude.
I guess it just takes awhile to upload. We'll see...
Dear Friends.
I'm sorry, it seems that there is a problem in uploading.
Please write me your emails, and I will send it to you via mail.
Peace.
I've just uploaded the recording by Michael Rabin of this etude, it's my favourite performance.

There is sevral etudes by Scriabin which were arranged for violin, one of them is the b-moll, this is a very wonderful , and very good arranging by Mikhael Fichtengolz, do you know this?
Sorry, my mistake. The Carl Fischer Book of Szigeti Collection is still in print, and the catalogue number is CF10738.
