I was recently going over my collection of recordings and realized that I am extremely short on modern/ contemporary compositions (i.e. written within the last 30 years.) Furthermore, the pieces that I do own recordings of are certainly not of the highest quality, and will probably not attain any sort of repertorial permanence. Now I have started searching for any "great" works that have been composed recently, more specifically the last ten years. Any suggestions?
