CARLETTI LUTHIERS in Pieve di Cento: 110 years of history

June 8, 2005 at 05:50 AM · The famous Italian Luthiers family, going back to 1895 and Carlo Carletti and operating near Bologna, now under the signature of Gabriele Carletti, attains the goal of 110 years of work and will be honored in Ferrara, Italy, in two special concerts, on Saturday 5 and 12, November 2005, at 5 pm, in Ridotto of Teatro Comunale Ferrara.

Both international performers such as Vilmos Szabadi, and national performers such as Roberto and Andrea Noferini, Tommaso Poggi, Mario Ricciuti, Franco Fantini (for a longtime concertmaster of Teatro alla Scala Orchestra), Massimiliano Canneto, will play on the instruments of the Bottega Carletti. An exhibition of Carletti violins, violas, cello and doublebass and the edition of a collection book on them will follow.

Any information about a Carletti instrument abroad, from the owner or anyone else, is welcome, and may be joined to follow and enrich this notice.

brand their instruments on the inside with "Carletti" (no label, brand only)?
