May 20, 2005 at 05:57 PM · Hi, I don't really know the situation there, but they say it's in a mess there right now. They have changed the programmes (now there is also a course for chamber music and for people younger than 18) and nobody knows when exactly are the lessons and if they will be allowed to stay there next year, because some students will be obliged to leave and nobody knows who. Next year it can be all in order of course.
The teachers have a good reputation, only I don't know exactly how much choice you have. You have Augustin Dumay (who gives extra lessons sometimes, but if you want to take advantage of that, you must also accept that he gives these lessons at night:))and some assistants, who are also good teachers. I only know one: Tatiana Samouil (finalist of the QEC in 2001).
OK, that's just what I heard.
