trying to identify an e string

April 15, 2005 at 04:46 AM · I wonder if anyone can tell me what kind of e string this is? I believe it is steel. It has: a bright green winding on top with gold chintzy stripes and on the bottom it has plain green, a bit lighter or paler.

Thanks!
