I am beginning to work on the first violin part to the Overture to the Czar's Bride by R. Korsakoff.
Does anyone know what metronome marking is about right? How fast does it usually go?
Thanks.
Great!! Thank you very much! It does look like fun. I just wasn't sure just how fast was fast.

February 2, 2005 at 09:26 PM · Michael, just saw clavir (don't have score), here is time signature is 2/2 and as I remember, in the score is same. The half note equal 108. As you can see, the tempo is kind of very fast. I played it, It's fun. You will enjoy working on this overture.
Good luck.
