Hey everyone,
My wife is a big Joshua Bell fan. I'd love to surprise her on Valentine's Day with a copy of Joshua Bell's Tchaikovsky Concerto CD Cleveland Orchestra, Vladimir Ashkenazy, conductor (1988). Of course, it's Out of Print. Does anyone have any leads on finding a used copy?
its the recording with wieniawski # 2 on it too right? yeh-actually i think i have it somewhere but ill have to look for it.but if i dont find it, i know someone else who will for sure
It is the one with Wieniawski No. 2 on it.
btw i really liked bell's wieniawski
..no way as much as rabins recording but i liked it
i could be persuaded to make a copy for you, click on my name and send me an email
You will find it now and again on Ebay. It is I think the only Josh Bell CD I don't have but it is awfully difficult to find - unless you are willing to pay $60 or more for a CD which I for sure am not willing to. This is typically what it ends up selling for on Ebay. Anyone who collects Josh Bell CDs is likely to be still looking for that one!
Hi,
If you have access to a library, find one that has it and see if you can get an interlibrary loan. That might be a good way!
Cheers!

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
