Zino Francescatti's 1970s recording of the Tartini D-minor concerto, etc.

January 13, 2005 at 01:36 AM · In the early 1970s Zino Francescatti came out with a wonderful LP that contained among other things the Tartini D-minor concerto, an arrangement of Tartini's Art of the Bow, the Vitalli Chaconne, and Paganini's I-Palpiti. Edmond de Stoutz conducted the Festival Strings of Lucerne, as I recall. Anyway, for the past ten years I have been waiting for this to be reissued on CD, but so far have been disappointed. Has anyone else heard this recording, or have any information about a reissue on CD?
