Porgy and Bess

October 8, 2004 at 04:39 AM · Does anyone have a recommendation for a recording of the Gershwin/Heifetz Porgy and Bess adaptations? I'm working on it right now, and I'd like to hear a really sizzling interpretation to inspire me.

Each master interprets Gershwin differently and yet beuatifully; in my opinion, however, listening to the songs performed by a great diva, such as Jessye Norman or Dame Kiri te Kanawa, could be even more expiring. Let us know!
