Best and lightest violin case?

September 9, 2004 at 12:42 AM · OK, gang... My old American Case is rapidly decaying and I need to look into buying another case. This time I want a lighter case. I heard great things about the BAM Techno cases. Anyone has one? Impressed by it?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

October 20, 2004 at 05:37 AM · Hi,

I've seen the BAM hightech cases (the silver ones, right?) and have heard of them opening up. They don't have a zipper that goes around the case, just the two latches on the front, which apparently aren't that secure.

Hope this helps,

Go to the Luxury models, you can see the Ultralight model there too. Take a look at all the other cases they have, you're sure to find something you like!

It's all a matter of personal taste though. Good luck!

I'm very pleased with it!

October 22, 2004 at 04:34 AM · What a shame the BAM Hitech cases open up! I was really determined to get one. They're rather costly too, of course... =) The case I currently have, a BAM London, is very nice to use.
