July 4, 2004 at 06:25 AM · I've been trying to play it and I have no techical problems but I just cant get the piece musically. Any suggestions? I've been listening to the Menuhin early recording.

July 4, 2004 at 03:35 PM · Try reading about what was going on for Elgar at the time he was writing the piece and about the piece. You might find it useful to read about events going on during the same time as well.
