Caroline West

My name is Caroline, I am 15 yrs. old, and I LOVE playing the violin!!! I started playing when I was 9 years old (although I would have LOVED to have started when I was 7!!!), and have been serious about it ever since. One of the highlights of my violin career so far was being introduced to Sarah Chang!!! In addition, one of my favorite pieces to play is the Romanian Folk Dances by Bartok. There are sooo many characters to play in them!!! I was also the concertmaster for two years in a row for my school orchestra, and was the recipient of the Conductor's Award in the summer of 2005. I would also, someday, like to begin fiddleing.
