Sarn Oliver, Violinist, Composer,
Violinist Sarn Oliver has performed as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe. His performances can be heard on many recordings including his 1991 recording of the Benda and Stamitz Violin Concertos with the Montpellier Chamber Orchestra, Sete France and on the 2002 Fish Creek Music recording of Eric Ewazen’s Quintet for English horn and String Quartet. Other accomplishments include the creation of the jazz group, the Continuum. Mr. Oliver is also a recording engineer and producer. He founded SarnWorks Recording Studio in 2007 and is actively recording, producing and engineering classical Cds and Film projects. Most Recently In May of 2009 Sarn Oliver was invited as a composer and violinist to participate in the Europe Asia Festival 2009 in Kazan, Russia. There he gave a recital including several of his own works and also appeared in the Gala concert as soloist with the Orchestra. Sarn Oliver is the former Principal Second Violin of the Sacramento Symphony and is currently a first violinist with the San Francisco Symphony.
