Francesca Rizzardi

I began studying piano at age 7 and studied other instruments later. But I was never exposed to the violin as a child or teen. I fell in love with the violin 25 years ago. (I live in Berkeley, CA and had the privilege of attending concerts of nearly every top soloist and chamber group between 1981 and 1995.) But I didn't have the chance to study the violin until a few years ago, when I was in my 50's.
