Denis Dufresne

I was a classical violinist for many years. After receiving my Jazz Performance Degree from Capilano College in North Vancouver, BC, I joined the touring ensemble Barrage.
I toured the world in Barrage for several years before making the transition to session player and live player in the Country, World, Folk and Rock genre's. I currently make Calgary my home and am bandleader in a pop/country band called PEAR. The foundation of classical music helped me become an in demand and sought after fiddle player.
I still practice Bach but get payed to play fiddle.
