Julia Ciesla-Hanley

I've been a violinist since August 1986. I primarily studied with Debra Pelto at Eastman School of Music before switching to Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Violinist Ellen Rathjen in 1994. I was a music education major for one year at Baldwin-Wallace College before switching majors to Broadcasting.

I currently perform with the Jamestown Community Orchestra in Jamestown, NY and with First Covenant Church's annual "Living Christmas Tree" production. Previously, I taught beginning and intermediate violin at Infinity Visual & Performing Arts Center. I also have performed with the Warren Civic Orchestra, Warren Riverside Chamber Orchestra in Warren, PA; Jamestown Uncommoner's pit orchestra for musicals, Lucille Ball of Jamestown Little Theatre's production of "Chicago," and in pit orchestras for area high school musicals. I am available as a solo violinist for weddings and other functions.
