She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from California State University, Long Beach in December 1997. She currently teaches students of all ages on the violin and piano out of her studio in Long Beach as well as freelance perform locally. Currently she is accepting new violin and piano students. As a freelance performer, she is a violinist and Coordinator of the Southern Cities String Quartet, a chamber ensemble that performs for concerts and special events such as weddings and private parties.
Besides working with her string quartet, she also performs as a soloist or together with various ensembles as a violinist and/or pianist. On the violin she is primarily a classical musician, but she also has experience performing other styles of violin music such as Christian, folk, popular, bluegrass, and fiddling.
She joined the Filipino-American Symphony Orchestra in Los Angeles as a first violinist on February 24, 2009.
Professionally she holds Active Memberships with the Music Teachers' Association of California, Long Beach Branch, where she is currently the Branch Recital Director; the American Federation of Musicians, Local 353, and the California Music Studios.
On her leisure time she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, gardening, aerobics workouts, volunteering, reading, making scrapbooks, going on trips and outings, and photography.
