Danny Arnette

I began playing violin during my undergraduate years in the strings classes we had to take in college. I realized the love I had for the instrument and began studying privately with Harvey Krasney. I heard "Ashokan Farewell" played by Jay Unger in the PBS documentary "The Civil War" and was haunted by the music. I have pursued fiddle music mainly since then bluegrass, folk, country, blues, classical and now play violin in an opry variety show.
