Played violin until age early twenties. Stopped playing until mid-fifties. Been playing again regularly for last few years with regular weekly lessons but little opportunity to play with others.

Trio/Quartet is my favourite genre (Walton Quartet, Trio Wanderer), plus Early Music. Heifetz, Christian Ferras and Nigel Kennedy are my "all time" favourites.
