He has played with orchestras around the country including the Terre Haute Symphony, Kingsport Symphony, and Fairmont Symphony. At the Brevard Music Center, Micah was concertmaster of the Repertory Symphony Orchestra and Assistant Concertmaster of the BMC Orchestra. A skilled Baroque violinist, he has also performed regularly with orchestras dedicated to historical performance including the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, Kingsbury Ensemble, and the Bloomington Bach Cantata Project.
While at Indiana, Micah acted as Associate Instructor and teaching assistant to Stanley Ritchie. A passionate educator, he taught orchestra at Olympus High School and Evergreen Junior High in Salt Lake City, where he took his students to perform at the American String Teachers Association National Conference.
Micah holds a BM from West Virginia University and a Masters in Music Education from Indiana University. His teachers include Ronald Mutchnik, Laura Kobayashi, William Terwilliger, Brenda Brenner, and Stanley Ritchie.
