I have been playing violin since I was 9 years old, studied engineering in college, then taught urban transportation planning and statistics for nine years. After working for Union Pacific Railroad for nearly 22 years, I took early retirement and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance at the Univ. of NE at Omaha in 2003. Am currently almost finished with a Master of Music program. I have taken ten Suzuki Teacher Training classes since 1999 and currently teach about 35 students of all ages. I also play in one or two of the student/community orchestras at UNO and in a scottish band.
