I am a 68 year old woman taking up violin again after about 55 years of not playing. I love to play and am working hard to improve my tone and dexterity. I was pleasantly surprised that I still read music rather well and know where to put my fingers when I see a note on the page :) (years of playing the piano probably helps with that). I want to learn all that I can! I found this page while looking for articles to help achieve good quality tone and found it very helpful.
