I was born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, where I started my musical journey at the Victoriano Lopez School of Music when I was 12 years old.
Since 2006 I have lived in the United States. I studied violin performance at Washburn University (Topeka, KS) under Dr. Larissa Elisha. Then I did graduate work in viola performance at the University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA) under professor Christine Rutledge. Currently I serve as minister of instrumental music at Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins, GA. I share a music-filled home with my wife Joanna (a pianist) and our three children, who make lots of joyful noise!
