Lauren Manning

I'm a senior in high-school and have played the violin since I was six years old. I currently take lessons at the National Music Conservatory of Jordan with Mr. Timur Ibrahimov. I am a first-violin member of the Amman Symphony Orchestra and have toured in the US, Egypt, and Lebanon with the orchestra and also the National Youth Violin Ensemble. I've participated in the Goppisberg Music Festival in Switerland, the International Festival of Young Musicians in Lithuania, and the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in New Hampshire

I recieved my ABRSM Diploma in Violin Performance when I was fourteen, and I will be a freshman at Oberlin Conservatory in Violin Performance beginning Fall '08!
