Javier Orman

I'm a member of Dúo del Sol along with guitarist Tom Farrell. We write, record and perform original music around the country.

Previously, I played with classical/jazz/rock/instrumental Radiohead cover band Entropy Ensemble. I also co-founded the Terranova Piano Trio and concertized throughout the Americas as a chamber musician and soloist until I began my work with Dúo del Sol.

I currently teach at the Sol-La Music Academy in Santa Monica. In 2009, I founded Kidzymphony, an orchestral program for young children in Charleston inspired by the El Sistema model.
