Karen Rile
Karen Rile is the author of Winter Music, a novel set in Philadelphia, and numerous works of fiction and creative nonfiction. Her writing appears in literary journals, periodicals, and other publications. In addition to fiction, essays, and book reviews, she writes frequently on classical music and other arts-and-culture topics.
The founding editor of Cleaver Magazine, she teaches fiction and creative nonfiction at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the parent of four violin/violists and the aunt of two more.
