adult learner of violin (UK based...in Devon)

Started learning violin in January 2007 at age 38, with no prior musical background.

Had no practice for over 2 years (one year I thought I wanted to give up... the other due to ill health). Then again hang up the violin from 2015 to November 2020 (life has been very challenging...looking after my elderly father, getting married etc)

Working full time in the health profession (well, more than full time...6 days a week!)so unfortunately violin has to be a hobby, in the next life I will make it my profession.

Desperately wanting to become a reasonable player one day :)

Now aged 51, if I live another 50 years and don't put the violin down anymore I may actually get round to learn how to play the 'darn thing' LOL
