Spanning a combination of the Suzuki method, Kodai, and eurythmics (Dalcroze), I like training my violin students to be well rounded musicians. Lessons are a mix of many things, from polyrhythmic clapping games to Beethoven to improvisation.
In addition to playing violin, I also sing jazz, play the erhu, and compose music via free improvisation ensembles.
My album "London" came out just before I moved and can be downloaded on iTunes (itunes.com/jenniasher), and some of my more experimental (read: random and unfinished) work can be heard on soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/jennithompson). If you'd like to chat, please introduce yourself.
