Jennifer has competed with great success in music competitions and festivals for decades, and has performed across Ontario with many ensembles including Boris Brott’s National Academy Orchestra, the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the Southern Ontario Chamber Music Institute.

Jennifer is the owner, head instructor and conductor at the Bel Canto Strings Academy in Hamilton. This music school provides affordable music lessons in a group format to students of all ages and experience. Prior to founding the Bel Canto Strings Academy, Jennifer spent 5 years as a Strings teacher for the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board Strings Program, teaching and conducting the 120-piece string orchestra called the West Hamilton Strings.

In addition to teaching the group programs, Jennifer enjoys an active life as a musician in Hamilton, performing at weddings and other banquets, ceremonies and receptions; recording and performing with local bands and musicians; and teaching private lessons and theory lessons from her home studio.
