I am nearly 50 and took up the violin three years ago. I studied the violin for two years at school, so it was like starting nearly from scratch again. I have fallen in love with the violin and practice four hours daily as well as having taken up a myriad of other instruments. I'm a trained teacher and bi-lingual secretary, but currently interpret and translate in French, Italian and Spanish.
