I rediscovered my love for music and violin after stopped playing for 20 years. I started playing violin when I was 6. Played through high school with a teacher in China. In college, I played occasionally. After coming to the US, I completely stopped playing. I received a Ph. D. in molecular biology and genetics. While accompanying my daughter to her piano lessons, my love for music and violin was rekindled. My daughter's piano teacher also teaches violin. I feel that I am more mature and determined to do it right. It is not easier after 20 years with three young children and a husband to serve.
