I am a 63 year old music lover, who began violin as an 8 year old kid. I was average as a player, though played in the college orchestra as a kid for the annual Messiah. Quit playing after college, then resumed again in my 30's; primarily messing with jazz, bluegrass and Irish. As I near retirement from family practice, I realize how much fun and work is to be had with my violin, mandolin, guitar and God knows what else. I went to Peter Prier's shop to find a better violin for my daughter, who is resuming her playing. Little did I expect to play the Firebird!
