Hannah Frey lives in St. Louis where she is an active performer and teacher. Currently she has a small private studio and performs as a substitute with the St Louis Symphony and as Concertmaster of Winter Opera St Louis. Before moving to St. Louis, Hannah lived in Cleveland, where she held the position of concertmaster of the Mansfield Symphony and principal second of the Canton Symphony. She taught at the Fairmount School of Music, the Fine Arts Association, and the Orange District Schools. She also spent several years as a member of the Charlotte Symphony. Hannah received both her Bachelor's and Master's of Music degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music where her primary teachers were Linda Cerone and William Preucil. She has taken Suzuki Teacher Training with Vera McCoy-Sulentic, Susan Kempter,Carol Smith and Rudy Hazucha. In her free time Hannah enjoys reading and hanging out with her cat Oistrakh.
