Born in Los Angeles, California, Eliza began her violin studies at age 6. In 2004, she studied at the Central Music School in Moscow where she performed at the Kremlin museum twice. Later on, she was accepted at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia at 12 years of age and took masterclasses with world-renowned soloist Ruggiero Ricci in Palm Springs.
Eliza moved to Vienna, Austria and studied under the tutelage of a highly regarded teacher, Boris Kushnir, an acknowledged jury member in competitions such as the Queen Elizabeth and Tchaikovsky competitions. Recently, she completed her studies with Qian Zhou at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory, Singapore and gained more experience and knowledge during these years.
Like many others (hurrah musicians!), I studied diligently with perseverance and strived for perfection. I enjoy playing the piano as well and even singing as a hobby and learned Russian and German, the latter abroad when studying in Europe.
From my years of experience with performing, studying and teaching, I understood the importance and beauty of embracing all elements of life as well as broadening your horizons, reaching out, and finding out your purpose and happiness on earth.
