Elmer Phillippi

Beginner with several months experience. Have a background in music (playing accordion as rank amateur for a number of years and fooling around with piano and guitar)so I have a pretty good feeling for intonation and rhythm. I read music well and know my scales and chords pretty well. So my challenge comes in violin technique. My near-term goal is to play in bluegrass jams and my stretch goal is to play the fiddle in a band at a contra dance.
