Strictly amateur violinist/fiddler, but a retired band teacher. Been playing for 6 years or so, mostly Scottish/Cape Breton-style fiddling. Play twice weekly in local pub "seisuns". Refining technique with an eye to eventually being able to "hang out a shingle" and teach a bit.
