He has appeared in major venues and festivals such as Nippon Foundation in Tokyo, Mozarteum Festival in Salzburg, International Music Festival Bled (Slovenia), always to the highest acclaim and often being broadcast on the national radio. He performed as a soloist in the most prestigious concert halls worldwide such as Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, National Theater and National Concert Hall of Taipei, Merkin Hall in New York.
In 2010 he performed at the Taipei Arena for an audience of 15,000 and received rave reviews from the press.
Born in Italy in 1991 to a family of musicians, Mr. de Ascaniis began studying the violin when he was eight and one year later he was already appearing as a soloist with orchestras. After the Master's Degree cum laude from the Conservatorio Pedrollo in Vicenza at the age of 16, he earned a Diploma at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and has since participated in master classes with Z. Bron, M. Frischenschlager and I. Volochine.
Since 2012 he resides in New York City and is studying with Albert Markov.
Upcoming solo engagements include concerts throughout Europe and the Americas as well as his Carnegie Hall debut.
