Charles Bott

Began taking violin lessons from Rocco Leggett who at the time was concert master of the Long Beach Calif Symphony. Never majored in music in college, but continued private lessons through high school. Attended Arrowbear Music Camp on several summers, played in the Long Beach youth orchestras for several years. Purchased a JB Vuillaume. After 40+ years of not playing, purchased a violin and had my first lesson on 6/4/2009--so you might say I am re-entering the playing field. What fun. Found alot of my old music, but its too advanced for now. I did find the Auer books on beginning violin and that's my source. My current teacher is a student of Haroutune Bedelian, who was a student of Nathan Milstein, so there is some connection.
