Bill Strutton

I am a 41 Y.O. adult beginning violinist fulfilling a long-time desire to learn a string. My first 'instrument' was dulcimer when I was very young and since I've played Sax, various guitar styles and some piano.

I played sax in high school & college but never had the opportunity to learn a string as a kid. I've been wanting to learn for many years & finally decided to jump in as a relaxing activity sans technology (my day job).

I've been blessed to find Lana, my teacher who is really a terrific mentor. I've been meeting with her twice weekly since May of 2009 and continue to be amazed at our progress.
