Polish-born violinist based in Switzerland, performed across Europe, South America and Africa as soloist and recitalist.
She has made her concerto debut with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Zielona Góra in Poland at the age of fifteen, playing II Violin Concerto by Karol Szymanowski.
Since then, she has been invited to perform with the orchestras in Poland- National Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Lower Silesia Philharmonic Orchestra, Podkarpacka Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra (Sopot), Lomza Chamber Orchestra, and others; Germany: Loh- Orhester Sondershausen, Deutsche Spohr Philharmonie Freiburg, Deutsche Spohr Akademie Freiburg; and in the UK; and collaborated with conductors: M. Vengerov, M. Pijarowski, W. Rajski, M. J. Blaszczyk, W. Marschner, H. Masuda, and others.
As a chamber musician, Anna has recently collaborated with: Maxim Vengerov performing Sonata for two violins by S.Prokofiew during Gstaad Menuhin Festival, and as the
Menuhin Academy Soloist with Cecilia Bartoli, Gary Hoffman and Baiba Skride, as well as with many exciting musicians of her generation.
Anna is a laureate of competitions: 1st Prize and Special Prize at the 6th International Wolfgang Marschner Violin Competition in Germany; Haverhill Sinfonia 2015 Music Award, UK; Solo Award and L. Spohr Foundation Prize at the International M. Reger Competition in Germany; International Festival Allegro Vivo Award, Austria; and in Poland, Special Prize at the International K. Szymanowski Competition; and three prizes at the S. Serwaczynski Violin Competition: 3rd Prize, Youngest Finalist Prize and Special Prize for the best interpretation of Karol Lipinski’s work.
As a laureate of Young Artist Program of the Rome Chamber Music Festival, she was invited to perform at Palazzo Barberini in Italy. She also played solo at the other prestigious festivals: Menuhin Festival Gstaad, Crans Montana Classic, Meclenburg- Vorpommern, Pietrasanta In Concerto Italy, Marschner Festival Germany, Allegro Vivo Austria, Octobre Festival Carthage, Ohrid Music Festival in Macedonia, Mediterranean Notes in Montenegro, W. Lutoslawski Festival in Warsaw and K.Penderecki Centre of Music- Meetings of the 20th century Master with young artists of the 21st century in Naleczów, Poland.
Anna is graduate of the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland, where she was personally invited by Maestro Maxim Vengerov to study under him, and earlier the Royal Academy of Music in London, with first class honors and special awards, and of the F. Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In London she studied violin with Maurice Hasson and Mateja Marinkovic, and viola with James Sleigh.
Currently she plays Polish, modern violin made by Wojciech Topa.
