I'm a luthier and as such, I try to open up the violon to other music styles and different publics.
While I believe the classical violin to be just perfect for classical music, I think that different music styles might have different sound ideals and require different playing techniques.
To respond to this, I developped the "Neolin", an acoustical, alternative string instrument which can be played like a violin, but with a different sound, different playing techniques and some, purely mechanical, sound effects.
I hope you appreciate !
