I started to play the violin at the age of 9. I aspired to become a professional until the age of about 22 when serious back pain - caused by practicing the violin - put an end to it. I didn't play for 30 years but now I'm at it again. The violin is called "The Devil's Instrument". In my case it would be because it makes my back hurt as h-ll. Despite the pain and seeing both a chiropractor and a physiotherapist on regular basis there's nothing more satisfying that playing or at least trying to play the violin. Thanks for reading and any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
